Job summary

Ascension Living's Sacred Heart Village in Avilla, IN, seeks an Office Operations Senior Nursing Facility leader for days, full-time. The role oversees admissions, referrals, and staff development, coordinating across departments to ensure smooth resident onboarding and service delivery.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent with leadership experience, with RN/LPN pref erence and healthcare certification.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years experience and 1 year leadership experience or 4 years experience and 1 year leadership.
• Preference for RN or LPN licensure and health care certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-person visits to evaluate potential referrals and conduct facility tours.
• Establish and maintain relationships with referral sources to admit residents efficiently.
• Collaborate with department supervisors on admissions procedures and paperwork.
• Educate residents and families about available services and resources.
• Lead hiring, training, and evaluation of staff.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Perform in-person visits to evaluate potential referrals as needed. Conduct facility tours for prospective residents or their relatives.
• Establish and maintain relationships with referral sources to obtain required information and admit residents in an efficient manner.
• Work directly with other department supervisors in completing responsibilities for admissions of new residents. Coordinate the pre-admission procedures, hand-outs, and required paperwork.
• Provide education to residents or their relatives regarding the services available at the facility and the resources that are provided to residents based on individual resident's needs.
• Conduct hiring, training, directing, development and evaluation of staff.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required.

What Additional Preferences We're Seeking

• Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) preferred.
• Health Care Certification preferred.
