Job summary

Ascension Resurrection Village - Life Center in Chicago, IL seeks a skilled nursing leader to direct daily clinical operations, ensuring high-quality patient care and ethical standards.

You will recruit and mentor staff, set departmental goals aligned with the health system, and manage budgets to enable care delivery. Minimum RN licensure and a BSN are required, with leadership experience preferred.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider preferred.
• Registered Nurse preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing or diploma from an accredited nursing program required.
• Master's degree or combination of Bachelor's degree and experience preferred.
• 5 years of experience required.
• 10 years of experience preferred.
• 2 years of leadership or management experience required.
• 5 years of leadership or management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily clinical operations to ensure seamless unit workflows, high-quality patient assessments, and exceptional care delivery.
• Build and mentor a high-performing nursing team by driving recruitment, onboarding, professional development, and continuous education.
• Define strategic department goals that align with broader health system objectives while maintaining medical, legal, and ethical standards.
• Manage unit resources and finances by developing and monitoring budgets to ensure the team has essential tools and support.
• Oversee continuous quality improvement by directing regular clinical audits and addressing feedback to elevate patient experience.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider preferred.
