PACS Group is seeking an experienced Admissions Director for its San Francisco Post Acute facility. You will lead admissions operations, build referral networks with hospitals, physicians, social workers, and discharge planners to grow census, and oversee the admissions process to ensure a professional, timely experience for residents and families.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare admissions or post-acute care.
• Proven ability to develop referral relationships and support census growth.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily admissions operations to meet census goals.
• Coordinate the admission process from referral to resident arrival and paperwork.
• Screen prospective residents using medical records, clinical needs, and criteria.
• Verify insurance coverage and benefits for admissions and financial responsibilities.
• Coordinate bed assignments and ensure up-to-date bed availability.
• Communicate with residents, families, referrals, and staff throughout the process.
