Job summary

PACS in the United States is seeking an Admissions Coordinator to support facility operations by increasing the census. You will collaborate with physicians, social workers, and discharge planners to secure timely admissions and ensure compliant intake processes.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and cross-functional teamwork to deliver a smooth admissions experience for residents and families. On-site position in a post-acute care setting.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Two years’ admissions experience preferred.
• LVN/RN license preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the admissions process to provide a positive experience for residents, families, and staff.
• Plan, direct, and monitor daily Admissions Department operations to meet census goals.
• Admit patients by completing admission and financial forms.
• Screen patients against admission criteria.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely communication and referrals.
• Maintain bed availability records and outreach activities to referral sources.
