Job summary

PACS Group in the United States is seeking an Admissions Coordinator to support facility operations and increase the census. You will manage the admissions process, coordinate with nursing and case management, and ensure a warm, efficient intake experience for residents and families.

Responsibilities include directing daily admissions, screening patients, verifying insurance coverage, coordinating transportation and services, and maintaining bed availability.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Bachelor's degree in health care or related field preferred.
• Two years' Admissions experience preferred.
• LVN or RN license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage admissions process to ensure a positive experience for residents, families and supporting staff.
• Direct and monitor the daily operations of the Admissions Department to meet census goals.
• Admit patients to the health care facility.
• Screen patients against admission criteria.
• Coordinate and arrange transportation and other services as needed.
• Maintain accurate bed availability and intake records.
• Attend daily stand-up meetings.
