Job summary

Genesis is seeking an Admissions Director to lead patient admissions, payer management, and referral development at our West Virginia nursing center. You will drive census goals, coordinate with referral sources, and coordinate marketing efforts to raise community visibility.

You will oversee the admissions process, ensure fast referral responses, manage brand presence online, and lead a collaborative, multidisciplinary team to improve transitions of care for patients and families.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a healthcare setting.
• Ability to adjust work schedule based on nursing centers’ business need.

Responsibilities

• Oversee admissions process and ensure timely follow-up on leads, with referral response times under 15 minutes and census/payer goals.
• Build and nurture relationships with key referral sources to grow market share through community marketing and brand management.
• Maintain and update the nursing center’s website and manage social media to achieve a strong online presence (Google rating > 4.0, 15% review improvement).
• Lead efforts to improve interdisciplinary collaboration and transitions of care with strong patient/family communication.
• Aim for improved conversion metrics across referral-to-admit, tour-to-admit, and referral-to-admission processes (target 10% improvement in the first 3 months).
