The Groves Rehab and Healthcare Center in Independence, MO is seeking an Admissions Coordinator to ensure smooth transitions for new residents, coordinating with the Business Office, and providing exceptional customer service.

You will collaborate with the Admissions Director, conduct tours, verify referrals, and support a seamless admission process while guiding families through policies and paperwork.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in SNF, subacute, rehab, or healthcare facility.
• Active LPN or RN license required.
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
• Strong telephone and communication skills with referrals and inquiries.
• Knowledge of the managed care industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Admissions Director to obtain and assess referral information.
• Coordinate with Business Office for financial verification prior to admission.
• Conduct facility tours and engage families to ensure commitment.
• Manage admission process, explain policies, and complete paperwork.
• Track status of referrals and upcoming admissions.
• Notify Marketing Director of referral source concerns.
• Provide exceptional customer service and orient new residents.
• Support floor staff with resident needs as schedule allows.

• Coordinate with the Business Office to ensure accurate and complete financial verification prior to admission.
• Conduct facility tours and engage families to ensure commitment and satisfaction.
• Manage the admission process, explaining policies, ensuring all paperwork is complete, and supporting a smooth transition.
• Track and communicate status of pending referrals and upcoming admissions to appropriate staff.
• Notify the Marketing Director of any referral source concerns or issues.
• Provide exceptional customer service and help orient new residents to the facility.
• Support floor staff with resident needs as schedule allows.
