Brightli in St. Louis, MO is seeking an Admissions Specialist to join the Recovery Services team. You will guide clients through the admissions process, respond to referrals, and coordinate with clinical, care management, and billing teams to ensure a smooth entry into services.

This full-time role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment. A background in healthcare or behavioral health is preferred.

Qualifications

• Verbal and written communication skills to engage clients.
• Ability to build rapport with new clients and referral sources.
• Experience handling confidential information in healthcare settings.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming admissions experience by building rapport and delivering customer service.
• Guide clients through screenings and document referral information.
• Complete admissions in databases with face sheets, releases, and residency documentation.
• Coordinate insurance information with Care Managers for a smooth transition into services.
• Collaborate with billing to ensure admissions, transfers, and discharges are processed on time.
• Maintain census levels for various service lines and manage waiting lists per CARF/DMH standards.
• Build professional relationships with clients, referral sources, and team members.
• Support clinical staff with letters, forms, and administrative needs.
• Enter data and maintain records within established timeframes.
• Review files, compile chart information, and correct deficiencies promptly.
