Job summary

Utah Valley University’s Admissions team seeks a detail-oriented intake coordinator to guide prospective and admitted students through admissions requirements, degree options, residency policies, and university resources. You will serve as a trusted resource, help students navigate the application process, and support their academic journey from inquiry to enrollment.

In this role you will manage admissions records, communicate with students, and assist with complex questions while collaborating

Qualifications

• Knowledge of college admission procedures and residency policies.
• Experience handling a high volume of documents and records.

Responsibilities

• Advises students on admissions requirements, policies, procedures, resources, degree programs, and Utah Residency requirements, policies, and procedures.
• Maintains student files, databases, records, and/or other documents.
• Enters Admissions documentation and data in the Student Information System (BANNER).
• Studies theory, practices, techniques, rules, and regulations related to the Summary of Duties.
• Answers questions and prepares acceptance letters and other communication for students applying for admission.
• Assists with a variety of Admissions projects as needed and performs other job-related duties as assigned.
