Job summary

Arizona College of Nursing is seeking an Admissions Advisor to support enrollment efforts on a 100% on-site campus. You will guide prospective students through the admissions journey, deliver information, coordinate tours, and maintain compliant processes, with potential national scope based on department needs.

The role emphasizes excellent communication, organization, and a client-focused approach to help students start their nursing education.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; an Associate's degree is preferred.
• 1–3 years’ experience in admissions, retail sales, consumer marketing or recruitment.
• High degree of professionalism and discretion handling confidential information.
• Must be organized, professional, and warm to prospective and current students.
• Exceptional ability to organize, prioritize, and multi-task in a dynamic environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work with a diverse community.
• Knowledge of college admissions procedures and student recruitment and retention issues.
• Proficiency with computerized systems and databases.
• Ability to develop, plan, and implement short- and long-range goals.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with prospective students, parents, and the community via appointment, phone, email, and other materials.
• Greet and process paperwork; interview applicants; arrange campus tours; follow up with letters and calls.
• Maintain recruiting operations by following policies and reporting changes.
• Adhere to all compliance and regulatory standards.
• Maintain professional interaction with a wide range of individuals and VIPs internal and external.
• Advise students and families on educational opportunities, admissions, and requirements.
• Assist leads and inquiries with honesty, care, and thoroughness.
• Conduct effective phone presentations and candidate interviews.
• Increase enrollment starts through follow-ups and persistent outreach.
