Job summary

The NC Department of Adult Correction in Raleigh, NC is seeking an Administrative Supervisor to lead a team of Administrative Specialists and oversee accounts payable, procurement, e-billing, and related financial tasks.

You will ensure accuracy, timeliness, and policy compliance while promoting efficiency in daily operations and supporting budget codes, vendor payments, and travel reimbursements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and four years of progressively responsible administrative/office management experience, including one year as a lead worker.
• Experience in purchase order creation and tracking, funds reconciliation, paying invoices, researching and/or auditing complex data to resolve customer inquiries, and processing travel reimbursements.
• Demonstrated customer service and dispute resolution experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) with strong familiarity in financial management systems and procurement software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a team of Administrative Specialists, providing daily leadership and direction to meet service goals.
• Oversee accounts payable management, including purchase orders, requisitions, credit card reconciliations, and timely invoice payments.
• Streamline procurement and inventory management, ensuring compliance with internal policies and timely vendor payments.
• Oversee e-billing and payment processes, ensuring accurate allocation to projects and budget codes.
