Job summary

Addison Group is seeking an Administrative Customer Service Representative in Hoffman Estates, IL to support daily office operations and assist residents with questions, forms, and records. This public-facing role blends front-desk service with essential administrative tasks in a government office.

You will welcome visitors, answer inquiries in person, by phone, and by email; maintain electronic and paper files; enter data; review documents for accuracy; and help prepare informational materials.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist visitors while providing professional and courteous customer service.
  • Respond to customer questions and requests in person, by phone, and through email.
  • Explain taxing procedures, forms, and available services in a clear and easy-to-understand manner.
  • Help customers complete applications, forms, and other required paperwork.
  • Enter, update, and maintain information within databases and electronic records.
  • Review documents and submitted information for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Process routine changes and updates to customer and property records.
  • Maintain organized electronic and paper files and ensure information is properly documented.
  • Perform data entry, spreadsheet updates, basic calculations, and database searches.
  • Research information as needed to assist customers and resolve routine questions.
  • Maintain professionalism when assisting customers with questions or concerns.
  • Manage multiple administrative tasks and customer requests while meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy.
  • Assist with preparing informational materials and supporting community education or outreach activities.
  • Work with internal departments and outside organizations when additional information or assistance is needed.
  • Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes, organization, and the customer experience.
  • Assist with meetings, special projects, and other office initiatives as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling customer records and sensitive information.

Pay: $23-26/hr, OT as needed
