The Chronicle Of Higher Education, Inc. is seeking a full-time Administrative Associate for the Center for Disability Services at Auburn University at Montgomery. The position encompasses a variety of administrative duties, including record-keeping and office operations to support students with disabilities.
The ideal candidate will have at least a high school diploma, a year of office experience, and knowledge of disability laws in education. Experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe is also preferred.
The Center for Disability Services (CDS) at Auburn University at Montgomery (AUM) is accepting applications for a full time Administrative Associate. This position reports to the Director regarding daily operations and performs a variety of administrative duties for the department.
High school diploma or equivalent and one year of general office experience. Experience in disability services is desired. Education can be substituted for experience.
Knowledge of disability laws as they pertain to higher education, including Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act and subsequent amendments, WCAG 2.1, FERPA, and the Fair Housing Act.
Experience using accessibility features of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe.
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, Rehabilitation Services, or related field.
