Norfolk State University is seeking an Administrative Specialist I to provide essential office support within a structured university environment. You will maintain records, inventories, prepare correspondence, and produce documents for the assigned program, while serving as the first point of contact and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of education in office management or related field (or equivalent experience).
Demonstrates extensive customer service skills, competent in theuse of computer, copier, scanner and other office equipment.
Competent in the use of varied software, particularly Microsoftapplications used by the University. Competent in the use ofother University databases, e.g., Datatel, Colleague financial, TEA, eVA,etc. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail .
