Job summary

Novartis Group Companies is seeking a skilled ADME scientist for a laboratory-based role in San Diego, focusing on antibody-oligonucleotide conjugates and related modalities. You will perform ADME/biotransformation workflows, apply immunoprecipitation, and use LC-MS/MS/HRMS to characterize conjugates in biological matrices.

Qualifications

  • PhD/MSc/BSc with industry ADME or biologics research.
  • Hands-on experience with immunoprecipitation and affinity capture.
  • Experience with LC-MS/MS or HRMS workflows for conjugates.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute ADME/biotransformation workflows for antibody-oligonucleotide conjugates.
  • Apply immunoprecipitation and affinity capture to enrich conjugates from biological samples.
  • Use LC-MS/MS and HRMS to assess conjugate integrity, stability, and tissue distribution.
  • Design and interpret in vitro and in vivo studies linking data to PK/PD and candidate selection.
  • Provide ADME input to project strategy in cross-functional teams.
  • Prepare study plans, reports, regulatory content, and presentations.
  • Resolve assay/workflow challenges to improve data quality and throughput.
  • Maintain high standards of documentation, data integrity, safety, and compliance.
