Job summary

H.B. Fuller Company is seeking a Technical Sales Specialist to drive growth in assigned markets.

You will partner with Account Managers to identify opportunities, serve as the technical expert for the portfolio, and support the sales process with demonstrations, evaluation, and training. You will build OEM/AEM relationships, support product launches, and collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and R&D to develop customer-focused solutions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 7+ years in technical sales or related industry.
• Or Associate’s degree with 5+ years relevant experience.
• Or Bachelor's in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science with 3+ years relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Managers to develop and grow strategic customer opportunities.
• Serve as the technical expert for assigned markets, applications, territories, or technologies.
• Identify, qualify, and support new business opportunities through consultative technical selling.
• Conduct product demonstrations, application evaluations, technical presentations, and customer training.
• Troubleshoot customer applications and provide technical solutions that support business growth.
• Build and maintain technical relationships with key OEMs, AEMs, and strategic customers.
• Support new product launches and recommend portfolio enhancements based on customer and market insights.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and R&D to develop customer-focused solutions.
• Manage multiple projects and opportunities while applying sound technical judgment and working independently.
