Job summary
H.B. Fuller, the world’s leading pureplay adhesives company, is seeking a Technical Sales Specialist to grow the West Coast US and Canada market.
You will partner with Account Managers, apply technical expertise, and convert opportunities through consultative selling. As the technical expert for the portfolio, you will run product demonstrations, evaluations, and trainings, identify market trends, support launches, and build lasting OEM/AEM relationships while managing multiple projects
Qualifications
- HS diploma with 7+ years in technical sales or related field.
- AA degree with 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Bachelors in Chemistry/Engineering with 3+ years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Account Managers to grow strategic customer opportunities.
- Serve as the technical expert for assigned markets and technologies.
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities through consulting sales.
- Conduct product demonstrations, evaluations, and customer training.
- Troubleshoot applications and provide technical solutions.
- Build and maintain technical relationships with OEMs, AEMs, and key customers.
- Support new product launches and recommend portfolio enhancements.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, PM, and R&D on solutions.
- Manage multiple projects and opportunities with independent judgment.
- Continuously develop technical expertise to ensure customer success.
