Job summary

H.B. Fuller is seeking a Technical Sales Specialist to drive growth in the West Coast region for the United States and Canada.

You will collaborate with Account Managers to identify and convert new business opportunities using technical expertise and consultative selling. You will serve as the technical expert, supporting the sales process with application development, product demonstrations, troubleshooting, customer training and technical presentations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant technical sales or industry experience with a High School diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years with an Associate's degree in a related field
• 3+ years with a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or related field

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Managers to grow strategic customer opportunities.
• Serve as the technical expert for assigned markets, applications, territories, or technologies.
• Identify, qualify, and support new business opportunities through consultative technical selling.
• Conduct product demonstrations, application evaluations, technical presentations, and customer training.
• Troubleshoot customer applications and provide technical solutions that support business growth.
• Build and maintain technical relationships with key OEMs, AEMs, and strategic customers.
• Support new product launches and recommend portfolio enhancements based on customer and market insights.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and R&D to develop customer-focused solutions.
• Manage multiple projects and opportunities while applying sound technical judgment and working independently.
• Continuously develop technical expertise and seek support when appropriate to ensure customer success.
