Job summary

Law Firm in Boston, MA is seeking a Financial Systems Manager to support the Aderant environment, deliver financial reporting solutions, and collaborate with IT on system upgrades.

You will own project timelines and budgets, create reports from Aderant databases using SSMS/SSRS and Power BI, manage security, respond to help desk requests, and lead training for finance staff while ensuring data integrity and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, 5 to 10 years of relevant technical/functional analytic experience with accounting and billing platforms.
• Exposure to a legal environment preferred (Aderant Expert or iManage NBI).
• Knowledge of law firm accounting, billing, or revenue recognition concepts and translating reporting requirements into system solutions.

Responsibilities

• Support technology projects for on-prem and cloud-based applications including upgrades.
• Own project timelines and budget accountability for financial systems projects.
• Create reports from Aderant databases for financial analysis using SSMS, SSRS, and Power BI.
• Administer user accounts, roles, and security in Aderant and related systems.
• Respond to help desk tickets and provide operational support incidents.
• Lead training for finance staff on tools and system changes.
• Provide change management documentation for changes and patches.
