Job summary

Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) is seeking a Soldier Ride Specialist to plan and facilitate adaptive and standard Soldier Ride events. You will recruit veterans for rides, coordinate travel, lodging, and logistics, and serve as the main liaison for participants with event teams.

You will work with travel, events, and partners to ensure safe, successful outings, while coaching warriors in cycling and related activities.

Qualifications

• Two years of road or mountain biking experience at the intermediate level.
• Two years of business or administrative experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Soldier Ride team to plan, resource, and facilitate events.
• Recruit warriors to Soldier Ride (SR) events. Work with Salesforce/Cvent/phone/Zoom for recruitment.
• Coordinate with Travel and Events team for Soldier Ride event logistics, including hotel, meals, and warrior travel accommodations.
• Coordinate all transportation logistics for participants and fleet of bicycles.
• Distribute information and serve as primary contact for warriors in Soldier Ride opportunities.
• Develop and maintain relationships within Soldier Ride cities and with vendors and volunteers.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement and EMS for support during Soldier Ride events and manage permits.
• Order and inventory swag and equipment for Soldier Ride events.
• Assist with event execution including loading/unloading, driving support vehicles, warrior check-in, and equipment setup.
