Job summary

General Motors is seeking a Reasonable Accommodation Specialist to coordinate U.S. salaried ADA and workplace accommodation cases, ensuring a timely, policy-aligned process from intake to final documentation.

You will work with Accommodations SME, HR, Legal, and facilities teams to support a compliant and employee-centric program. You will manage a high-volume caseload, communicate clearly with employees and leaders, and contribute to global expansion of GM’s accommodations model while building

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in HR/related field.
• 3+ years in HR, employee relations, LOA/accommodations administration, or related HR operations.
• Knowledge of ADA, FMLA, and related state/local leave frameworks.
• Experience handling high-volume caseloads with deadlines and documentation.
• Strong communication with employees and leaders; ability to explain processes clearly.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned portfolio of accommodation cases end-to-end for U.S. salaried employees.
• Serve as day-to-day contact for employees, managers, and HRBPs on cases.
• Ensure forms and documentation are issued, returned, reviewed, and actioned on time; track deadlines.
