Job summary

General Motors seeks an RA Specialist to coordinate U.S. salaried ADA and workplace accommodation cases, owning the operational engine of the process. You will ensure timely documentation, guidance, and policy-aligned execution, while partnering with HR, Legal, and SME teams.

You will expand coverage to related leave types, develop training, and support global expansion of GM's accommodations model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of HR, employee relations, or accommodations administration experience.
• Foundational knowledge of ADA/FMLA and disability leave frameworks.
• Ability to manage high-volume workflow with accuracy and deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication with sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate U.S. salaried ADA and accommodation cases end-to-end.
• Serve as day-to-day contact for employees, managers, and HRBPs.
• Issue, collect, review, and action required forms within deadlines.
• Document notes and decisions in the case management system.
• Collaborate with SME, HR, Legal, Facilities for recommendations.
• Maintain best practices, templates, and process flows.
• Develop reference guides and materials on GM ADA processes.
• Contribute to global reporting on volume and outcomes.
• Participate in audits and program health checks for improvements.
