Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking an ADA Accommodations Specialist to lead the interactive process for remote work accommodation requests within the Employee Relations team. You will balance regulatory requirements, employee needs, and business operations while guiding a pipeline of cases with empathy and clarity.

The role focuses on creative alternative accommodations, conflict resolution, and timely, precise case documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in HR operations, disability accommodations, or employee relations.
• Direct experience facilitating the ADA interactive process and evaluating accommodation requests.
• Strong resilience and de-escalation skills to navigate sensitive conversations effectively.
• Excellent case management, time management and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage the ADA Interactive Process: evaluate remote work and accommodation requests and drive end-to-end discussions with empathy and compliance.
• Develop Creative Alternatives: partner with employees and leaders to identify viable alternative accommodations.
• Navigate Challenging Conversations: demonstrate de-escalation and professional resilience when delivering decisions.
• Oversee an Active Caseload: independently manage ~70 cases at various stages, track medical docs and maintain detailed notes.
