Job summary

Chapman University in Orange, CA, seeks an ADA Testing Coordinator for the Fowler School of Law and Extended Hours. This 10-month, full-time position coordinates accommodated testing, manages exam scheduling, room coordination, proctoring, records, and testing security in accordance with ADA 504/508 policies; on-campus duties only.

The role requires collaboration with the law registrar, IS&T, and deans, strong communication, time management, and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Three years of professional support experience, with at least one year in testing coordination or disability services.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace; ability to learn accommodation management systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to interact diplomatically with diverse groups.
• Excellent time management; ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Professional demeanor and confidentiality when handling sensitive documents.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple departments (Registrar, IS&T, Deans).
• Knowledge of ADA, Section 504, and 508 regulations related to academic accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Receive students, faculty, and others at the testing center front desk.
• Coordinate and proctor testing accommodations; schedule exams and monitor test-takers.
• Maintain accurate records and data tracking; ensure test security and integrity.
• Collaborate with university personnel to ensure updated policies and procedures.
