Job summary

Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, is seeking a Senior Testing Coordinator to oversee the DRC Testing Center, ensuring accessible, secure, and fully accommodated exams for students with disabilities.

You will coordinate testing logistics, supervise student staff, mentor professional staff, and partner with faculty and Access Specialists to uphold ADA, FERPA, and institutional standards while promoting academic success.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ADA, Section 504, and FERPA regulations as they relate to exam administration.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to oversee multiple exams, schedules, and priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with students, faculty, staff, and campus partners.
• Ability to supervise, train, and evaluate staff, including proctors and student employees, while maintaining testing standards.
• Working knowledge or ability to quickly learn assistive technology and accessible testing tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the DRC Testing Center and ensure timely, secure exam administration.
• Coordinate testing logistics and schedules to support equity and accessibility.
• Supervise and mentor student staff and professional staff; ensure compliance with policies.
• Collaborate with faculty and Access Specialists to uphold institutional and accessibility standards.
