Job summary

Utah Transit Authority is seeking a Paratransit Eligibility Specialist to determine ADA eligibility, review applications, conduct interviews, and perform assessments for customers needing paratransit services. The role includes documenting records and providing admin support to the ADA Evaluation Office and Mobility Center.

Requires an Associate’s degree and three years of public-facing experience; a Utah driver’s license with a clean record.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a related field required.
• Three years working with the public, including elderly and disabled customers in a training-related field.
• Must have a valid Utah Driver’s License and clean driving record in past 3–10 years.

Responsibilities

• Determine eligibility under ADA for paratransit services.
• Review applications, conduct interviews, and perform eligibility assessments.
• Communicate ADA policies and eligibility guidelines to applicants.
• Create and maintain accurate records and reports.
• Provide administrative backup support to the ADA Evaluation Office Administrator and Mobility Center.
