Job summary

Pierce Transit is seeking an ADA Eligibility Analyst to review applications and assess eligibility for paratransit services in line with ADA requirements and agency policies. You will interpret results, communicate decisions, and guide applicants to suitable transportation options.

The role demands strong analytical skills, professionalism, and the ability to provide courteous customer service while maintaining accurate records and participating in hearings and interagency activities.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Occupational Therapy, Social Work, or a closely related field.
• Minimum three years of relevant experience working with people with disabilities or seniors.
• Public sector experience and knowledge of ADA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review ADA eligibility applications and determine eligibility in accordance with ADA regulations and agency policy.
• Communicate eligibility determinations clearly and provide information on transportation resources.
• Maintain records, prepare narratives, and participate in hearings and meetings.
