Job summary

Virginia Tech is seeking a Case Manager for the Office for Civil Rights Compliance and Prevention Education (CRCPE). The role supports multiple units, creates ADA case files, tracks status, and maintains related databases.

The position requires strong administrative skills and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Onsite presence is required to provide in-person administrative support, assist visitors, and coordinate internal/external reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience with employee and/or student conflict management, or case management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Strong administrative skills.
• Ability to work with sensitive information and in stressful situations in a professional and confidential manner.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate with large and diverse audiences.
• Ability to monitor case management using a database or case management software.
• Ability to work collaboratively with students, employees, and partners.
• Ability to appropriately collect, maintain, share, and safeguard sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain accommodation case files and manage forms.
• Track case status and maintain ADA interactive process data.
• Provide onsite office coverage and assist visitors seeking information.
• Triages calls/visitors and responds to inquiries for CRCPE, ADA email and training.
• Prepare information for internal/external reporting and coordinate events.
• Provide administrative support to CRCPE directors and operations coordination.
