Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our inpatient CAP 2 role within the kidney care team. You will provide and coordinate clinically competent care, from assessment to evaluation, for an assigned patient group, and may delegate tasks to RNs, LVN/LPNs and techs as needed.

Requirements include state RN licensure, CPR/BLS certification, and at least 2 years of nephrology nursing (acute dialysis preferred).

Qualifications

• Entry level RN with minimum 2 years or more of nephrology nursing experience in the last 2 years.
• Acute dialysis experience preferred.
• Current appropriate state licensure is required.
• CPR/BLS certification is required; must meet practice requirements in all states employed.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for an assigned patient group.
• Delegate appropriate tasks to direct patient care staff (RNs, LVN/LPNs and Patient Care Technicians) as needed.
• Participate in education, leadership, and quality improvement activities to enhance patient care outcomes and program operations.
• Direct and provide safe, effective patient care for prescribed dialysis procedures and collaborate with the health care team.
