Job summary

Fresenius Kidney Care is seeking a Registered Nurse for the CAP 2 track to coordinate care for an assigned group of dialysis patients. You will assess, plan, intervene and evaluate patient care under supervision and in collaboration with the health care team.

The role requires current state licensure and CPR BLS, with at least 2 years of nephrology nursing in the last 2 years. Acute dialysis experience is preferred; travel between facilities and on-call rotations are possible.

Qualifications

• Entry level RN with minimum 2 years or more of nephrology nursing experience in the last 2 years.
• Acute dialysis experience preferred.
• Must maintain licensure in applicable states and CPR BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Delegate appropriate tasks to direct patient care staff per policy.
• Direct and provide safe, effective patient care for dialysis procedures as prescribed.
• Mentor and role model for new and incumbent employees within the unit.
