Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Professional Registered Nurse, Inpatient RN CAP 2, to join the Clinical Advancement Program. You will provide and coordinate nephrology care for an assigned patient group and collaborate with the health care team to enhance patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include data collection around dialysis episodes, documenting in the medical record, adjusting treatment plans as needed, and educating patients and families.

Qualifications

• Current valid state RN license.
• CPR/BLS certification required and current.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care for an assigned group of patients.
• Delegate appropriate tasks to direct patient care staff.
• Participate in decision-making, teaching, leadership and quality improvement activities.
• Perform ongoing data collection and document in the patient medical record; adjust treatment plan as indicated.
• Educate patients and families about care and treatment.
