Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care seeks an Inpatient RN CAP 2 to join the Clinical Advancement Program. The role focuses on coordinating patient care, assessments and education for a defined patient group in a dialysis setting.

The position requires active RN licensure, CPR/BLS, and experience in nephrology nursing; acute dialysis experience is preferred. You may work with RNs, LVNs/LPNs, and Patient Care Technicians to ensure safety and quality in patient care.

Qualifications

• Current appropriate state licensure.
• CPR BLS Certification is required.
• Entry level RN with 2+ years in nephrology nursing in the last 2 years.
• Acute dialysis experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide, coordinate and document clinically competent care for an assigned patient group.
• Delegate appropriate tasks to direct care staff as permitted.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care; communicate with physicians and staff.
• Educate patients and family; document learning needs and responses.
