Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an inpatient RN CAP 2 to provide and coordinate clinically competent care for dialysis patients in a hospital setting. The role includes assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation of care, with delegation to PCTs/LPNs as needed.

The RN CAP 2 will participate in education, leadership, and quality improvement activities, while complying with policy and regulatory standards and maintaining patient safety and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• RN with 2+ years nephrology nursing in last 2 years.
• Current state RN license.
• CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care for dialysis patients.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care per treatment protocol.
• Delegate tasks to PCTs/LPNs as appropriate.
• Document patient data and adjust treatment plan.
• Educate patients and families.
• Ensure safety and respond to adverse events.
