Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Minnesota.
• Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with patients, families, peers, physicians and other health care professionals.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Willingness to rotate day and night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Works in a combined unit of medical, surgical, pediatric, obstetric, nursery, and swing bed patients.
• Performs assessments and provides care to patients of all ages in order to develop a plan of care in collaboration with the patient, family, and other health care providers.
• Coordinates services and interventions identified in care plans.
• Evaluates the patient's response to, and progress toward, their optimal patient experience and outcomes.
• Is committed to patient and family centered care.
