Sierra Medical Center in Reno, Nevada is seeking a Physical Therapist to join per diem staffing. The role focuses on evaluating, planning and administering therapy to adolescent through geriatric patients, aiming to maximize independence and recovery.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, educate patients and families, and help with staff education and program development as needed. Applicants should hold an active state PT license and BLS.

Qualifications

• Active physical therapy license in state.
• Acute care experience required.
• New grads welcome; training in acute care setting provided.
• 3+ years of experience in physical therapy preferred.

Responsabilités

• Evaluates patients and develops treatment plans and goals; monitor progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Documentations and reports of patient progress; participate in care conferences and rounds.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and community partners to coordinate care and education.
• Supervise staff, students or volunteers and mentor team members.
• Plan and participate in staff education and program development.
