Job summary

Northern Nevada Medical Center in Sparks, NV is seeking a Per Diem Physical Therapist to evaluate, plan, and administer therapy to adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve outcomes and patient satisfaction.

Candidates must hold current state PT licensure and BLS certification, with 3+ years of experience in physical therapy. Per diem schedule offers flexibility and opportunities to contribute to staff education and program

Qualifications

• Must hold current State Physical Therapy licensure.
• Three or more years of experience in all aspects of physical therapy preferred.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients and develops treatment plans and goals, monitors progress and adjusts as needed.
• Communicates patient progress to staff, patients and family; participates in care conferences and rounds.
• Maintains documentation for communication with physicians and third-party payers.
• Provides supervision to assigned staff, students or volunteers as needed.
• Coordinates patient care and delivers varied therapeutic interventions to promote safe discharge.
