Job summary

Milliman, Inc. invites motivated graduates or current students to join our CMH Health Practice for a full-time seasonal internship focused on Medicare Advantage and Part D.

Expect challenging assignments, real-world experience, overtime opportunities, and exposure to leading actuarial consultants. We seek quantitative majors with strong math, statistics, and analytical abilities who can work 40+ hours per week mid-Jan to mid-Jun 2027.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a quantitative field.
• Strong math and analytical skills.
• Availability for full-time winter-spring internship (mid-Jan 2027 to mid-Jun 2027).
• Actuarial track with at least one exam passed is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform data analysis using Excel, VBA, SAS, Python, and proprietary Milliman tools.
• Pricing and analysis for Medicare Advantage and Part D plans.
• Support benefit design strategy for health insurers.
• Participate in consulting activities including pricing, reserving, financial projections, and M&A.
• Review peers’ work and assist with research and product development.
• Collaborate with teams to analyze claims data and model payment scenarios.
