Job summary

Elite Home Care, Day Centers & Transportation in Spartanburg, SC is seeking a compassionate and energetic Activity/Member Assistant to join our team. You will help plan engaging activities and provide supportive care to our elderly and young adult members in a friendly environment.

Responsibilities include assisting the Activity Director, facilitating activities, and maintaining client confidentiality. You will monitor behavior changes, document updates for the RN Administrator, and help create

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with elderly or disabled individuals preferred.
• Reliable transportation and/or a valid driver’s license.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
• Physically able to assist members with personal care.
• Clean background check and drug test.

Elite Home Care, Day Centers & Transportation is looking for a compassionate and energetic Activity/Member Assistant to join our team in Spartanburg, SC! Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Activity Director in planning and implementing engaging activities, including arts and crafts, music, games, and educational programs.
• Provide hands‑on personal care (ADL assistance) to members, including feeding, toileting, and dressing.
• Foster a positive and interactive environment by engaging with members.
• Set up and clean activity areas to ensure a safe and organized space.
• Redirect behaviors as needed to promote a supportive atmosphere.
• Monitor and document any changes in client behavior or health, reporting to the RN Administrator.
• Maintain client confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.

What We’re Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with elderly or disabled individuals (preferred but not required)
• Reliable transportation and/or a valid driver’s license
• CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast‑paced environment
• Clean background check and drug test
• Physically able to assist members with personal care tasks
