Complete Care at Shrewsbury invites compassionate individuals to join as an Activity Aide, helping plan engaging programs that bring joy to residents.

You will support daily activities, encourage participation, and collaborate with the care team to foster a welcoming, home-like environment for seniors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience as an Activity Aide or in long-term care, healthcare, recreation, or customer service is preferred, but training is available.
• Positive attitude with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Creative, dependable, organized, and able to work well as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Activities in coordinating and leading daily recreational, social, and therapeutic programs.
• Encourage resident participation and provide one‑on‑one support during activities as needed.
• Monitor resident engagement and communicate observations to the nursing team when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate attendance records and activity documentation.
• Help decorate Complete Care at Shrewsbury for holidays, seasonal events, and special celebrations.
• Prepare activity materials and ensure activity spaces remain organized and inviting.
• Support community events and special programs that enhance the resident experience.
• Perform additional duties assigned by the Director of Activities or Administrator.
