Job summary

Complete Care at Court House is seeking a compassionate Activity Aide to bring joy, engagement, and companionship to our residents. You will help plan and lead recreational activities, support socialization, and contribute to a welcoming home-like environment.

The role requires a High school diploma or GED, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a genuine passion for enriching seniors’ lives. Training is offered for motivated candidates in a supportive team setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience as Activity Aide or in long-term care preferred; training available.
• Positive attitude with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Creative, dependable, organized and able to work well as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Genuine passion for enriching the lives of seniors.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Activities in coordinating and leading daily recreational, social, and therapeutic programs.
• Encourage resident participation and provide one-on-one support during activities as needed.
• Monitor resident engagement and communicate observations to the nursing team when appropriate.
• Maintain attendance records and activity documentation.
• Help decorate Complete Care at Court House for holidays, seasonal events, and special celebrations.
• Prepare activity materials and ensure activity spaces remain organized and inviting.
• Support community events and special programs that enhance the resident experience.
• Perform additional duties assigned by the Director of Activities or Administrator.

Activity Aide Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous experience as an Activity Aide or in a long-term care, healthcare, recreation, or customer service setting is preferred, but we are happy to train motivated candidates
