Job summary

Complete Care at Court House is seeking an Activity Aide to plan and lead recreational programs that promote socialization, creativity, and well-being for residents. You will help create a welcoming environment and support residents during activities, contributing to a home-like atmosphere.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, strong interpersonal skills, and a genuine passion for enriching seniors' lives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Experience as an Activity Aide or in healthcare preferred, but training provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating and leading daily recreational, social, and therapeutic activities.
• Encourage resident participation and provide one-on-one support during activities.
• Monitor engagement and communicate observations to the nursing team as needed.
• Maintain attendance records and activity documentation.
• Help decorate for holidays and special events and prepare activity materials.

Activity Aide Schedule & Benefits:

• Part-time, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday 9am-5pm schedule

Activity Aide Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required


• Previous experience as an Activity Aide or in a long-term care, healthcare, recreation, or customer service setting is preferred, but we are happy to train motivated candidates


• Positive attitude with excellent interpersonal and communication skills


• Creative, dependable, organized, and able to work well as part of a team


• Basic computer skills required


• A genuine passion for enriching the lives of seniors

Activity Aide Responsibilities:

• Assist the Director of Activities in coordinating and leading daily recreational, social, and therapeutic programs


• Encourage resident participation and provide one-on-one support during activities as needed


• Monitor resident engagement and communicate observations to the nursing team when appropriate


• Maintain accurate attendance records and activity documentation


• Help decorate Complete Care at Court House for holidays, seasonal events, and special celebrations


• Prepare activity materials and ensure activity spaces remain organized and inviting


• Support community events and special programs that enhance the resident experience


• Perform additional duties assigned by the Director of Activities or Administrator
