Job summary

Complete Care at Court House in New Jersey is seeking a compassionate Activity Aide to bring joy, engagement, and companionship to residents. You will plan daily recreational programs, support residents one-on-one, and help create a welcoming, home-like atmosphere.

This part-time role offers Saturday/Sunday/Monday 9am-5pm, Daily Pay, competitive compensation, and a supportive team that values your contributions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in activity aide or long-term care preferred; training available.
• Positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Creative, dependable, organized, and team-oriented.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Passion for enriching lives of seniors.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Activities in coordinating and leading daily recreational, social, and therapeutic programs.
• Encourage resident participation and provide one-on-one support during activities as needed.
• Monitor resident engagement and communicate observations to the nursing team when appropriate.
• Maintain attendance records and activity documentation.
• Help decorate Complete Care at Court House for holidays, seasonal events, and special celebrations.
• Prepare activity materials and keep spaces organized and inviting.
• Support community events and special programs that enhance resident experience.
• Perform additional duties assigned by the Director of Activities or Administrator.

Activity Aide Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required


• Previous experience as an Activity Aide or in a long-term care, healthcare, recreation, or customer service setting is preferred, but we are happy to train motivated candidates


• Positive attitude with excellent interpersonal and communication skills


• Creative, dependable, organized, and able to work well as part of a team


• Basic computer skills required


• A genuine passion for enriching the lives of seniors
