Job summary

Arcadia Care Peoria Heights is seeking an Activity Aide to assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating recreational, social, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual programs aligned with each resident’s assessment and care plan.

You will support activity rooms, help with daily program execution, and monitor resident engagement to promote physical, social, and mental well-being in a Long Term Care setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in Long Term Care Activities Department preferred.
• Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and charting daily activity programs and quality assurance for the Activities Department.
• Assist in preparing and cleaning up activity rooms for scheduled activities.
• Oversee residents’ engagement in scheduled and unscheduled activities to promote wellbeing.

Job Summary:

The primary purpose of the Activity Aide is to assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of recreational, social, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual programs, in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan.

Essential Duties:

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and charting for the daily activity programs & quality assurance for the Activities Department.

• Assist in overseeing residents’ engagement in scheduled and unscheduled activities to promote the physical, social, and mental well-being of residents.

Preferred Qualifications:
