Job summary

Arcadia Care is seeking an Activity Aide to support planning, implementing, and evaluating recreational and social programs for residents. You will assist in organizing daily activities, maintaining rooms, and promoting residents' physical, social, and mental well-being as part of the Activities Department.

Experience in long-term care is preferred and a cheerful, patient attitude is required. Role is available in Peoria Heights, IL and offers opportunities in full-time, part-time, or PRN shifts

Job Summary:

The primary purpose of the Activity Aide is to assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of recreational, social, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual programs, in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan.

Essential Duties:

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and charting for the daily activity programs & quality assurance for the Activities Department.
• Assist in preparing and cleaning up activity rooms/areas for scheduled activity programs.
• Assist in overseeing residents’ engagement in scheduled and unscheduled activities to promote the physical, social, and mental well-being of residents.
