Arcadia Care is seeking an Activity Aide to support planning, implementing and evaluating recreational and social programs for residents. You will help coordinate daily activities, monitor participation, and contribute to care plan goals within a team environment.

The role emphasizes empathy, patience and a proactive approach to engaging residents across various activity levels to promote physical, social and emotional well-being.

Formación

• Experience in Long Term Care Activities Department.
• Patience, tact, cheerful disposition & enthusiasm.
• Willingness to engage residents at their current maturity level.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and charting for the daily activity programs and quality assurance for the Activities Department.
• Assist in preparing and cleaning up activity rooms/areas for scheduled activity programs.
• Oversee residents’ engagement in scheduled and unscheduled activities to promote physical, social, and mental well-being.

Activity Aide

Job Summary:

The primary purpose of the Activity Aide is to assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of recreational, social, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual programs, in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan.

Essential Duties:

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and charting for the daily activity programs & quality assurance for the Activities Department.
• Assist in preparing and cleaning up activity rooms/areas for scheduled activity programs.
• Assist in overseeing residents’ engagement in scheduled and unscheduled activities to promote the physical, social, and mental well-being of residents.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in Long Term Care Activities Department.
