Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Western Territory is seeking a dedicated individual to organize and oversee DMH client activities, coordinating transportation and housing interviews as needed.

You will develop monthly calendars, facilitate diverse programs, and foster an inclusive environment while coordinating volunteers and community partners to enhance services and ensure safe, engaging activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• Visual and auditory ability to identify hazards of the site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a monthly activity calendar for DMH clients.
• Organize and facilitate activities (arts, crafts, games, exercise, workshops, life skills).
• Encourage resident participation and foster an inclusive environment.
• Coordinate volunteers, guest presenters, and community partners for events.
• Monitor attendance and collect feedback to improve programs.
• Purchase and maintain activity supplies within approved budgets.
