Job summary

The WellBridge Group in Novi, MI is seeking an Activities Aide to deliver and lead life enrichment programs daily. The role offers opportunities to promote health and well-being through engaging activities and therapeutic experiences. You will work part-time with shifting hours including weekends and some holidays.

You will support guests, families, and visitors with exceptional service, and help create a welcoming, healing environment through creative programming and decorations.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of related experience in long-term care preferred.
• Associates in Music or Recreational Therapy is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering Excellent, Passionate, Innovative care!
• You are a team player, dedicated to doing what it takes to support your team members and get the job done.

Responsibilities

• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with guests, their families, and visitors.
• Assist and lead group and one-on-one life enrichment programs.
• Encourage attendance and transport to and from life enrichment programs.
• Evaluate patients according to their background, life enrichment interests, abilities, physical limitations, and needs for meaningful programs.
• Develop and display thematic and holiday decorations throughout the facility.

The ActivitiesAide delivers and leads life enrichment programs every day. Our calendar is filled with amazing and creative activities that bring fulfillment and joy. These activities have the dual purpose of being therapeutic and promoting health and well-being. We are always trying new fun ideas. If you like to play games and do crafts, this position may be for you!

You will earn: Starting $16.00 per hour! NEW WAGES!

Base wages $15.15 - $16.95 per hour, based on years of experience! PLUS $0.85 per hour hero pay!

We need your help with these scheduling needs:

• Day Shift or Afternoons / Evenings shift available
• Allshifts include rotating weekends and some holidays
