Job summary

Cascade Senior Care Center in Jackson, MI is seeking an ActivitiesAide to deliver and lead life enrichment programs daily. You will create a welcoming, fun calendar of activities that supports therapeutic goals and promotes health and well-being.

If you enjoy games and crafts, this role is for you. We offer competitive wages with starting at $15.00 and earning up to $15.85 per hour, plus hero pay of $0.85 and yearly increases.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of related experience in long term care preferred.
• Associates in Music or Recreational Therapy is preferred.
• Excellent customer service with commitment to deliveringExcellent, Passionate, Innovative care!
• You are a team player, dedicated to supporting your team members and getting the job done.

Responsibilities

• You will promote hospitality and excellent customer service in our daily interactions with guests, their families, and visitors.
• You will assist and lead group and one-on-one life enrichment programs.
• You will encourage attendance and transport to and from life enrichment programs.
• You will evaluate patients according to their background, life enrichment interests, abilities, physical limitations, and needs for meaningful programs.
• You will develop and display thematic and holiday decorations throughout the facility.

We can work with your scheduling needs:

• FullTime or Part Time positions available - Mornings and Afternoons
• Shifts to include rotating weekends and some holidays
