Job summary

Wexford Senior Care Center in Cadillac, MI is seeking a Life Enrichment Activities Aide to deliver and lead daily life enrichment programs, enhancing physical and mental health for residents and creating a warm, supportive environment.

This part-time role offers 8-hour shifts (days & afternoons), rotating weekends/holidays, a starting wage of $15.00 per hour plus $0.85 hero pay, and a comprehensive benefits package including tuition reimbursement and paid time off.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of related experience in long term care preferred.
• Associates in Music or Recreational Therapy is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering Excellent, Passionate, Innovative care!
• Team player, dedicated to supporting teammates and getting the job done.

Responsibilities

• You will assist and lead group and one-on-one life enrichment programs.
• Encourage attendance and transport to life enrichment programs.
• Evaluate patients according to background, interests, abilities, and needs.
• Develop and display thematic and holiday decorations throughout the facility.
• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions.

The Life Enrichment Activities Aide delivers and leads life enrichment programs every day. Our calendar is filled with amazing and creative activities that bring fulfillment and joy. These activities have the dual purpose of being therapeutic and promoting both physical & mental health and well-being. We are always trying new fun ideas. If you like to play games, listen to music and sing songs, and do arts & crafts -this position may be for you!

You will earn:

• Starting Wages: $15.00 per hour
• PLUS Hero Pay ($0.85 per hour!)

We can work with your scheduling needs:

• Part Time positions available - all shifts include rotating weekends and some holidays
• 8 hour shifts - Days and Afternoons available!

How you will help people every day:

What you will need to be part of our EPIC team:
