Job summary

NexCare Health is seeking a Life Enrichment Activities Aide to deliver daily life enrichment programs at Dimondale Nursing Care Center in Michigan. You will promote hospitality, provide engaging activities, and support residents’ physical and mental well-being through creative programming.

The role involves leading group and one-on-one activities, encouraging participation, and contributing to a supportive, joyful environment for residents with diverse needs.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of related experience in long term care preferred.
• Associates in Music or Recreational Therapy is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to deliveringExcellent, passionate, innovative care.

Responsibilities

• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with guests, families, and visitors.
• Assist and lead group and one-on-one life enrichment programs.
• Encourage attendance and transport to life enrichment programs.
• Evaluate patients according to background, interests, abilities, and needs for meaningful programs.
• Develop and display thematic and holiday decorations throughout the facility.

• Starting wages at $14.25 an hour
